Current Research and Interests
Petrology, bedrock mapping, and geologic history of the southern Appalachian Mountains (Southern Appalachian Mapping Project).
Actively involved in the environmental movement at Furman for over 20 years as an educator and advocate of a sustainable campus. Involved with Eco-Cottage.
