Research
Interests
Land use change
and impacts on natural resources, urban sprawl issues, sustainable
development, remote sensing and GIS applications. My current research is focussed on use of multi-resolution satellite imagery in understanding biogeochemical processes. During the past few summers I and my students have been working on projects involving study of nitrogen cycling using remote sensing data and field survey methods, and modeling hydrological responses of landuse changes.
